La Piutà Association in cooperation with Balme Town Hall manages Balme ski runs. The winter access to Pian della Mussa has been ruled by a specific Town Hall decree. The cross-country ski run to Pian della Mussa (Pista Roìti) starts just after the last Balme houses and follows the country road layout (closed in winter). People with mountaineering ski or snow-shoes must use the proper run specifically prepared on the right orographic side of the valley (Pista Kind).

Once you have reached Pian della Mussa (Pista Roìti), all other runs, linked and singly accessible, wind on the well-known plateau, high mountain environment overlooked by Uja di Ciamarella and Bessanese massif.  All runs are prepared for both techniques: classic and skating style.

All runs are prepared on Friday night for Saturday, Saturday night for Sunday and, during festivities, every night. Weekday preparation may be agreed on according to specific requests. For any information relating to snow condition or runs accessibility, you may contact us at cell number:
